I would like to introduce myself, I am the co-founder of The Fountain Clinic, Lytham St.Annes. I am a registered general nurse and I trained and qualified at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary in 1986, I have been a registered general nurse for 30 years. I have specialised in surgery, medicine, oncology and general nursing.
Revalidation for registered general nurses was introduced by the nursing midwifery council in April of this year, meaning in layman’s terms that every registered general nurse in the UK has to go through a revalidation process every three years. I am very pleased to state that I revalidated on the 1st of July this year and at present I am working in an acquired brain injury unit.
